We'll have a different thread for each position over the coming weeks. The thread will be open for a while for nominations and the most frequently mentioned players will be going into a poll on the same thread.

The team will line up 4-4-2. Old style.

Ian Walker, when my little girl was 8 she was picked to be the mascot at a game against Norwich. All the players and manager ( Ossie) were really good to her and she got her photo taken with most of the players. Its was Teddys birthday and she had made him a card which she gave to him in the dressing room. The only player who ignored her was Walker and in the players lounge after the game he did the same.

She was really upset when he ignored her and she had tears in her eyes, i was that close to going up and chinning the arsehole.

Other than the 'hand of GHod' this was the most outrageous thing I have ever seen in a World Cup. How was this clown not sent off? He would get my vote. Completely unlikeable in every way.
