I live in Stevenage, but I can't say I follow the team. Most people here support Spurs and Arsenal (a lot of United too) what with it being an overspill of North London. Good luck to him though.

He is just another selfish player who looked after his own career. He is in no way a Spurs fan, legend or anything. He does not fit to tie the boot laces of players like Perryman, Mabbut or King who stayed with Spurs for their full career.

Therefore, when he had an opportunity to go and play for the biggest club in the world, with one of the greatest teams in history, he took it and won a Treble.
As he was and is a Spurs fan, he came back to us to enjoy playing for a club he loves. We deemed him surplus to requirements after that and moved him on, no hard feelings.
