I know it's not really about the personality and really we are just going for who we think is best.

I will vote for Cavendish in his last ever year.

I remember when this was a looked-forward to event on a Sunday night before Christmas.
I didn’t even know it was on tonight until earlier this evening. Totally lost its pull.
I turned on because Cavendish is my sporting hero.

Turned off after 90 seconds. Like so many sporting events in this country that are ruined by the bizarrely deep voiced man hyping the thing up.

Opened the window and shouted out CNUTS to no one in particular.

I don't watch this kind of thing, but that really is a poor list.
I don't know who Hodgkinson and Storey are. I've heard their names, and presume they are 'sport' in inverted commas i.e. no ball included.

I bet Luke Littler wins it.
Hope you didn’t put any money on that.

Same here used to be a time i would never miss it, now i can not be bothered to turn it on.
Used to be the official start of Christmas for us; we’d have friends round for it, have a few drinks and nibbles. Went to a pub quiz tonight; doubt I’ll even watch it on iPlayer.

Sport only involves a ball? Nonsense.

FYI...
Dame Sarah Storey's nineteen Paralympic gold medals make her the most successful British Paralympian of all time eclipsing the previous record of 16 held by swimmer Mike Kenny. She has won an incredible 30 Paralympic medals at eight games.

Pretty sure she's a sports woman, one of the greatest in British sport ever.
