Social Media Pet Hates - Football fans

I suppose most of us are on social media and a few are on as Spurs fans tweeting all about the club etc. Are there any fans that grind your gears Spurs or otherwise?

There are some notorious Spurs fans on Twitter I see pop up now and then for being negative. Savva and Haz are their names, seem to be some of the worse.

Obviously you have DT from Arsenal who is just a pillock.

Any others?

I tend to view it differently, I see this more as a fan club type thing. We are all people sharing a common interest and engaging around that.

This isnt selfies and pictures of food etc...

I have a Facebook account, which I rarely sign into, but can be useful for knowing when its someones birthday (about all I do with it!).

Otherwise Ive no social media at all, and I certainly dont feel like Im missing out as a result.

If you take anything you read on a social media account seriously enough to get riled up, you're a dingbat. It's already a societal schittshow without bringing football's excesses into the mix. What a waste of energy.

I've got a fb account (set up at the insistence of a friend) that I use primarily to stay in touch with friends in far-flung places and sign into about once every couple of months on average. I don't follow anything to do with football on it. Don't do tw@tter, full stop, and never will. This forum is it, really. I graduated here by degrees from the old CarlingNet (or whatever it was called) nntp newsgroup.
