Pfft the last thing a passer like Carroll needs for his development is a month of coaching by some idiot in the england u21 set up.

phil neville18 @fizzer18

Good squad named for the under 21 euro tournament in Israel-cant wait to join up!

:-"

Poor Phil Neville. Will always be remembered as the other, less successful Neville. On the pitch, as a pundit and even as a coach.

Dawson had the ball in back of net but it's been inexplicably ruled out. No-one seems to know why!

:p

The refereeing in these two games so far has been shocking. I thought it couldn't get worse after the Norway-match, but they may actually manage to make it so. The more referees they have out there, the worse it seems to get.

Pearce has done quite well with the U21's.

He's got them set up very well defensively. Nine and a half games without conceding.

He was well regarded before the tournament

England really lack a decent forward coming through. Would explain the problems we have in signing them when these are the best we have

uh-huh, he looked great for Pescara. Some of the talent coming through Italy though, its real good. Verratti has ran the show tonight.

Imagine if we had the likes of Walker, Jones, Smalling, Rose, Shaw, Gibbs, Rodwell, Wheelchair, Zaha, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sterling, Townsend, McManaman, Ince, Welbeck, Sturridge. We'd walk this tournament.
