One day those with powers will realise that International football during the main football season is not welcome and fudge off.

Sorry just my thoughts on International football. A three week gap is a complete tinkle take coming just five league matches into the season.

I think they should combine Nations League/Qualifying and do it at the end of a season that could run until the end of April instead.

I hope they put some of the players who aren't fully fit into a mini bootcamp. Solanke for example.

Nations League is the first thing I’d chop. A waste of bloody time. And all international friendlies should go. The thing that astonishes me most is that people rock up to watch these completely meaningless games in their tens of thousands.

They should play 1-2 games. Just need a few youth team players to fill out the squad.

I'm wondering if the week off is more for the manager's benefit than the players. He seems to me to be feeling the pressure. Aiming to avoid a blow-up?

I made the mistake of doing a bit of reading around his time at Marseille yesterday, something that I didn't know much about...that didn't cheer me up.
