the photo in my passport is separated from the laminated side on nearly 3 sides

Ive got no chance have i? :(

Dodgy fudger

Knew you were dodgy.

ps - for what its worth - I dont think they will. Not because of the UK (I think they can easily establish your identity) its more the other side i.e. the country you are visiting that the problems will be encountered... you will be holeup in a rat infested cell with gay inmates horny as fudge and fed oats with ****roaches whilst the prison guards chuck rotten tomatoes at you

If you're only flying in the UK, I believe you can fly on a Driving Licence as long as it is the new style one. Another country though will require a new passport...

put it in a passport wallet mate . i washed mine the day before and it started to delaminate and put it in a pasport holder and got away with it . But if you have time go get a same day at london or peter'bro

don't you have to take them out of the wallets when you get to the passport check point?

phoned the passport people earlier and they said minimum 7 days for a damaged passport - something to do with security checks and they didn't have any appointments until next week if it wasn't damaged anyway... looks like it's a pritt stick for me

Mate they barely even check at Riga i would not worry about it, been through about 20 times including 2 days ago.

If you need any extra adivce on your trip you can PM me again.

Get any free time and head down to Liepaja for some of the best surf in Northern europe.

The check in girl told me to do that & i have traveled many times since all be it on a replacement passport and they haven't taken it out yet - again don't bank on it but worth a shout mate - good luck

i used to work in the passport agency years ago,for a start the laminate shouldn't have come apart as it should be checked before it was sent out,so you could have a complaint that its faulty even with normal wear and tear.

Anyway though a photo plays a part in security obiously, the other major part is the bar code in the passport that is the part that is scanned in,and thats what comes up on the screen to show if you are a wanted criminal or not lol,if thats damaged then you may get a held back.

Stick it back in with some prtitt stick and act dull if they say something!!
