You jest but he is gonna be a very very good players like most who came through in last years team
He captains the side and has stepped into men’s football and taken to it so well
Donley has needed fine but George just clicked

Looks like they love Abbott at Notts County but guess we’ll need to see how he does in a higher division before determining whether he can give Bergvall some competition in the middle as long term replacements for Bissouma and Bentancur?

Abbott is on a decent trajectory, but his predecessor as U21 captain, Matthew Craig, seems to be at a crossroads. Shame, as I thought Craig was going to come through strong, but as a full-back.

Craig for me was never quite a that that level
He will be a pro player and maybe end up championship/division 1
That’s a bloody great level for any player
Abbot has a very high ceiling for me
