Fixture & Ticket News 26/27

If you park on a road for free just north of where the A406 crosses the A1010, it's a 20min walk to the stadium. If you don't want to walk in you could catch a train for one stop from Silver Street, but coming back straight after the game, you will walk to here quicker than parking closer and sitting in traffic. This is the point where traffic starts moving again.
Is there much street parking around that bit now? A couple of hours before ko should be ok to get a space?

I’m coming for the Monday night Coventry game and would prefer not having to stand in the queue at Northumberland park after the game if at all possible!

The A1010 is Fore St, if you check out the Edmonton matchday CPZ the zone stretches nearly all the way up to Edmonton Green either side of Fore St so you need to choose carefully which road you park in, don't know how stringent they are with enforcement.

Perhaps someone can explain this before I ask Vinay. I don't get up to WHL as often as used to. I was planning to head up for the Charlton game and I could see that the tickets never made General Release. So, I'd need to grab a Membership and then get a ticket. I never expected this game to sell out and I think the attendance on the night was 49000. So, why would the club not shift the status to General Sale? Is their no value in selling another 13000 tickets? Is there a sweetspot on policing costs etc and a desire to force more people to take on a Membership? Just didn't really make a lot of sense.

I can’t make the Cov game due to work commitments so put my ST on the TE, where it sold few days ago. That’s not usually possible unless the match had already sold out, so I was surprised to see it go to GS.

Quick scan on the ticket site shows around 3,000 seats available for Fulham , still ages to go to the game so expect it will sell out but the days of 20,000 + members in the ticket queue on member sale days seem to be over for the less attractive matches.

These days I never buy in the Members window as you can always pick something up on the exchange and be more choosy about where you sit ie get better seats. Plus leaving it nearer the time gives me more time to actually think about if I want to go or home/work stuff comes up or the ko time/date gets switched etc
