Fixture & Ticket News 2021/22

Standard away game first up, usually someone like Saudi Sportswashing Machine/Villa
Leicester seem to be the last game recently for some reason

And then the classic Christmas period where we play all the top 4, 15 times over the space of 4 weeks with our copyrighted famous Tues/Thurs/Sun fixture schedule.
 
We’ve had a few at home recently - Everton last season, Villa before that. Maybe away to a promoted team although they tend to match them up with the top teams.
 
City Away followed by Liverpool at Home and everyone getting on the new managers back within 2 games.
 
It will be:

Brentford away (newly peomoted team with a point to prove)

Everton home (difficult, yet unspectacular first home game)

City away (toughest game of the season to maximize chances of a poor start to the season)
 
If you count Watford as a London team, that's 4 London 'derbies' on the trot across August-September, and 3 in January (almost 4 but for Soton slotted in).
 
Hmmm. Nice easy opening 6 to let the new manager bed in and gets fans and the media behind him…
