Sounds like FP would’ve been better off talking to Diaz’s agents direct first. Worrying if he’s getting that leach in to do our deals?

Only 'as reported', so all the usual caveats etc., but we had supposedly agreed personal terms with Diaz's agents and we involved Mendes to help get things over the line with Porto due to his relationship with the club. If that is all that it was, then I don't see why that would have bothered Diaz's reps if it was, indeed, just club-to-club.
 
No champions league and only money to buy non top 4 targets. Why would the best join when we don't invest when we're in the champion 's league and owners are trying to build a cinema and arrange boxing matches during covid ? We will get more lo Celso's and Ndombeles who want a scenery change without a challenge

Its surprised me a bit how long we appear to have left it to move on our A-list targets to back-ups....again, assuming press reports are correct and joining some dots:

- CM: persued Kessie, hasnt work and only recently moved to Amrabat
- winger: went very late for Diaz and now seem to be going back for Kulu
- CF: interest in Vlahovic, but only now going in for Morata
- RW: flirted with Traore forever....not sure who we're looking at now

It c0uld of course all work out, but feel bloody high risk to me, particularly as Conte has spoken about the need to do something even if not make the perfect signings

Possible in , Amrabat and Kulu

That looks utterly shambolic in my eyes would leave us in a brick state. Weaker than we were and that was weak in parts. Miles off the top 3/4 sides.

Paratici looks bad in my opinion. Gil going out after half a season ? Pathetic business.

Gil will presumably be a loan with no option to buy. I think we'll get Morata too, and I don't see Bergiwjn going

So roughly Kulu replaces GLC
Morata replaces Gil (in numbers not precise position)
Amrabat replaces Tubby
Dele not really needed if Conte believes in Kulu and Morata and Stevie B stays

I agree it would be pathetic (I would have been happy with pre contract only) , but it doesnt leave us in any worse state

The whole approach looks shambolic.

Steven B , Tubby , Gil , Lo Celso , Dele - Dont play, if we can get rid now, great - the only one I would keep is Gil

Dele fair enough he’s done at Spurs.

I think Morata and Amrabat are likely to be loans with option but not requirement to buy. In which case, whilst not exciting they're better than having GLC, Tubby, Dele and/or no CF back-up

Still, I was hoping for one, just one, decent signing but doesnt feel like we'll get that

Exactly that. It’s like just being stuck in limbo. Mediocre loans.

Surely we should have found one player to improve us .

I think Morata could be a useful addtion as a back up striker and for games we play 2 up top in.
