So apparently the Fulham and Jacksonville Jaguars guy wants to buy Wembley...does this mean direct competition for the London NFL franchise?
That’s what I was wondering It might come down to the fact we want more for providing a more suitable purpose built offering, unless the plan is to redevelop Wembley to facilitate this? With Wembley now potentially be sold it could have a big imaoct on the NFL side
There's as much chance as Donald Trump buying Buckingham Palace so he can city break in London
Yeah the F.A. are going to sell their cash cow haha.

Not at all.
This is an idea that has been discussed within The FA/Wembley for at least 4 years. The fact that it's made it to the press now shows that there is a chance it will happen.
The FA didn't own the old Wembley until it was purchased to knock it down.
The current Chief Exec is more focused on developing grass roots football, and there's a reasonable argument that says The FA should focus on governing the game and developing England teams. Why should a football association be dealing with the staging of concerts and other non football events?
For less than it cost to build 10 years ago.
Wembley is also all the FA is, other than a handful of geriatric administrators. They'd be selling themselves into obsolescence.
Ha! Read that if this goes through England will be forced to go on the road except in the close season, so with a bit of luck Cheatski will also get crowded out by NFL fixtures. So apparently the Fulham and Jacksonville Jaguars guy wants to buy Wembley...does this mean direct competition for the London NFL franchise?
All it is is the Jacksonville owner trying to barter Levy down on their rent when they move here permanently. It's like we used the OS bid as leverage on our proper plans.
So I thought there was a limitation on events that could be held there, or has our dispensation for this season set a precedent? As someone who worked for the FA/Wembley I can tell you that is completely wrong.
Shad Khan grew up in Pakistan as a fan of English football when Wembley was probably the most iconic stadium in the world. Now he is a billionaire and can afford to buy it.
Plus talk was that he never got on with Levy when he first took over Fulham in the Premier League.
That would be such a bad fit for Fulham though if thats the plan

That doesn’t bode well for our Sessegnon interest. As someone who worked for the FA/Wembley I can tell you that is completely wrong.
