Daniel Levy - Chairman

won't be upset if we miss out on europe now if it pushes levy into good long think about how badly investments are needed in the playing squad and how transfer decisions can be improved (sack 'em like the manager).

Missing out on Europe will make it much much worse.

We are broke, Lewis has no interest in investing any money into the club, we the need money.

The first and by far most important thing on Levys todolist should be getting a hold of qualified and up-to-date sport science/fitness staff.

Why do we turn players to brick, you ask? Because they are badly out of shape. Todays schooling by Leeds was an eye opener for me. Off the pace from minute 1.

Yeah mason has said that it will taker time to get them up to speed

This, no matter what other think we have to be in Europe ( if only for the coificent),.
I said a few years ago we qualified two years too early for the CL and it would be very hard to make the leap and keep balance.
I'd be happy with Europa for two years.
With Europa you can sign the next Dele, Bale, Modric, Berbatov and grow as a team.
But the most important bit is redefine what we are as a team again.
Mourinho was a gamble - the right one IMHO. It's didn't work, we have shown we need to be builders instead. Back to that

How many games have leeds played this season compared to us? The amount of games we've played this season is insane.

It was a terrible gamble I think. Next year will now be our third transitional season and we may still need another one after that. We had a perfectly good manager who told the chairman exactly what was needed and we’re now paying for that.

Today's performance and the result weren't great at all, but in the context of a season and what other clubs have got away at Leeds, it was 1 point dropped not 3. Granted we really could have done with the win, but had we performed to potential before now we wouldnt have needed the win

On Levy, the manager appointment is urgent so that he can work out who he wants for next season, even if that starts with watching replays of most of the 38 games on his sofa at home. It'll also give a sense of direction and where we are going. We badly need that asap and to try to reassure players we want to keep and players which we want to sign

it's another example of our Jekyll and Hyde season I guess, I didn't see the game today, but last time we played them we absolutely murdered them

Last time we murderer them by letting them have the ball and playing compact up front
Today we played 4-2-4 basically with dele dropping in (he had a good game)
They just battered us wide at every opportunity and they were good with it TBF

The most worrying thing today was that it was easy to see what was going to happen after 5 minutes. The players looked flat from the off, the passing was sloppy, and all of the second balls were being won by Leeds.

For me, that’s now a pattern under three managers for a huge chunk of this squad.

Which suggests to me that it’s not the managers who are the main problem.

Yep, we’ve seen that before, you can often tell what we are going to get early in the game.

Agreed, we need to move a lot of these guys on, there is no room for sentiment.

Mason is barely in the door, it's a stretch saying it's under 3 managers. The two biggest culprits of sloppy passing today were PEH and Lo Celso. Lo Celso didn't play that much under Poch and PEH wasn't there.
