Bring Højbjerg back!

I am a fan, but I don't think he'd really be the solution. Pierre would be another body that does a bit of everything, that said, to his credit he is reliably available and a good role model - that's more than can be said about the other clownshoes in our midfield (Sarr is exempt from this barb but is just generally in bad form tbf).

Many a time he came on and steadied the ship, but that mainly helps if you're winning a game, not chasing it to ultimately lose by one goal.....

I do think he's the kind of player you don't appreciate until he's not there. Whatever his limitations he was a good organiser and his positional and situational awareness are superior to any of our current midfielders IMO.

Yeah, you won't get much traction for the OP on here! I will say he was definitely underrated by many on here, a top pro always fit (something not to be underestimated with us!). He is a good footballer, wasn't the problem but also not the solution....

No, no, no and no

Pierre was OK when things were going well. The last person Ange needs right now. He completely shut down on Conte when things started to go bad. Was caught multiple times walking back over the half way line as the ball hit the back of our net. Just played for himself.

We don't need guys like that in this period.

I love how extreme the comments are on this thread, it's like we are trying to imitate a Facebook fan page for a minute.

PEH is a limited footballer who has moments of surprising quality, but in the main flappers to deceive (geddit??).

Sarr and Bissouma are not championship players, and honestly shouldn't be grouped together either.

Sarr is a young man making his way and showing periods of immense quality, who is probably struggling with the demands of this season as he's young and doesn't have experience of a struggle like we are experiencing right now. He's also playing alongside different players every week, which doesn't help.

Biss is a tough one, as he is older and established, but the truth is he's flattered to deceive. He was excellent at Brighton but has only occasionally shown that ability since. Seems like someone who believes his own hype to me. Still a prem player though.

He was awful some games, decent in others. Its a theme with our players. Biss and Sarr are similar in that regard, though more bad games than good ones. Sonny too another but needs 6 games to get a good one in.
Its what we are missing, a team of consistant performers week in week out.
