Slightly concerned that Gale isn't winning this with only a few hours left, I can only imagine it's that some haven't had the pleasure of his commentary like you say?

Thompson's saving grace is he has something of a soft spot for Spurs. Tony Gale on the other hand is plain loathsome.

Gale's bias is hard to listen to as it is...well..unadulterated bias. When he has no horse in the race he is as banal as the rest. Also his voice reminds of Bradley Walsh.
Thompson though is barely sentient and his opinions as are inciteful as those of a blob fish, which coincidentally he resembles.
