He's clearly got a problem with the fanbase
Him, Conte and Mourinho are a pretty unwanted hattrick on that frontThe bloke is a prick.

Nuno was a victim of circumstance - clear and obvious from the outset that he was way down the list of targets, if he was even on the list at all - from that point he was a dead man walking.Well, we had a nice guy in the middle and the fanbase turned on him in less than 10 games.
You get what you deserve ..

I think it was obvious to many Spurs observers by about December that Ange was not the right guy for the job and I don’t think it would have been knee jerk to get rid of him then. If it only became obvious to Munn recently, then for me, that’s a big mark against his management nous. I think the reason he is still in post is because there were no suitable alternatives mid season. If the three teams at the bottom were not so terrible, Ange would have gone by now imho.Munn's leadership mantra is about creating the conditions for his reports to be successful. By the end of the Jan window, closely followed by the end of Feb when we had a fit squad those conditions were mostly in place.
Ange is now totally in that zone where Munn can judge him. He has the clear path to succeed. I don't think he will and Munn will take action.
I'm sort of happy that for once Spurs aren't being knee jerk.
The sacking of Nuno, (as well as keeping Ange in his job), is on those running the club, not the fans and it was an awful look at the time. We wanted Conte in the summer, couldn’t get him so we appoint someone lower down the list. Then when he shows the typical new manager inconsistency rather than back him, we get an inkling conte might be available and we sack Nuno. Now, of course, Nuno might not have worked in the long term, but it was a ridiculous decision to terminate his employment so quickly and all because people at the club were overawed at the prospect of appointing Conte, whether or not he was right for the club.I don't disagree re circumstance, but it's classic fan flimflam
I've hired hundreds of people in specialized roles, I've lost count of how many 4 or 5 candidate loops where we didn't pick the person we thought was most qualified before the actual interviews, anyone who can make it to the interview itself is qualified.
How many Vic vs. Raya, VDV vs. Todibo, take your pic, where the "cheaper" or less fancied option is clearly better that fans opinions based on price, club coming from and 5 minutes of youtube do fans need to see before "knowing better"
Nuno took fudging Wolves to European spots, look at what he's done with Forest and even after all of that, guy is just an outright decent human being who refuses to get drawn into bricking on us, our fans? behaved like brick because somebody/media whoever made up a "list" concept and felt we could do better.
He has got to be gone in the morning right?
Really???Any fan singing "you don't know what you're doing" at their own manager at 1-0 down is a clam. I'd sooner have those tossers out of my club than Ange.
I've never felt as out of touch with Spurs fans as I do now. Not the club or the team. Spurs fans. Absolutely pathetic.
Really???
He doesn’t know what he’s doing at least at this level. He’s just not good enough.
He is quite possibly one of the bottom three managers we have ever had, certainly the worst since maybe Ozzie and he’s also inherently arrogant to a level not aligned to any ability he has shown.
I can’t see anyway that this can be put on the fans.
Ange is out of excuses, get him out please
A section of spurs fans like all football fans can take things too far I agreeIn what world is slagging off your own manager helpful?
Spurs fans are clams. Every other week there's protests against the owners, all happening with different groups with the own issues and often looking to build their own profile. You've got fans goading and abusing the players and managers for social media videos. Brennan Johnson literally disabling social media to get away from the hate.
There's a trend here. Ange has not been perfect, I've said that many times. But own fans are very much part of the problem. This situation is absolutely not getting any better with the next manager. The same thing will happen.

In the case of Ange, I think he has been treated pretty well and got off for the most part Scot Free for what is a complete shambles.
Blaming the fans at an away game after yet another defeat for being exasperated at a manager who is clearly out of his depth is very strange.
It’s a get out clause to blame the fans for this joke of a manager
I’d agree with Nuno it was harsh given the amount of time he had in the job, although I think there from memory of that United game the booing was at a sub he made and not chants directly at him. But I may be mistaken at that.Get out clause? Do me a favour. Singing that at any manager is absolutely pathetic. It was pathetic when it happened with Nuno too. Our fans quite clearly have form with this sort of nonsense. If you're happy to excuse it...good for you. I don't see it as helpful and I think anyone who sings it or excuses it is a clam.
Like I said...it just shows how out of touch with other Spurs fans I am.

But Ange, I’m not having it. The guy has been a disaster, it’s not about whether it helps or not, we are past that, it’s clear as day that this is a guy hopelessly out of his depth. We have had to put up with this shambles for over 18 months and he has been treated reasonably well. He is the manager of the club not the club itself and some oh his statements suggest he just get the club but anyway regardless there is no measure where the fans are more to blame for this mess than this hopeless manager.
This was the night Tottenham Hotspur supporters cracked. When years of frustration spilt over.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s decision to replace Lucas Moura with Steven Bergwijn in the 54th minute was debatable but it was hardly scandalous. The reaction of the Spurs supporters was visceral, though.
They booed, they shouted and, most damningly, they sang “you don’t know what you’re doing” at the head coach.
You have a point but it’s not exclusive to Spurs fans. It’s been sang at many managers who have made baffling decisions like taking Bergvall off.Any fan singing "you don't know what you're doing" at their own manager at 1-0 down is a clam. I'd sooner have those tossers out of my club than Ange.

Yes and as I said I couldn’t remember the exactly circumstances anpart from the reaction to the sub and I didn’t agree with the treatment of Nuno.![]()
