Eric Dier

'Interestingly, he really doesn't do any tactical work (in training). What he does is, every single training drill from Monday to Friday is drawn up to represent the way that he wants to play.'

I remember everyone thinking he was chatting rubbish.

You'd think with all that practice we'd have learnt by now.

I don't think it will happen as they're terrible but if we lose at home to Leicester he's gone.

Yep, I'm Ange out at this point. I've had my doubts about him from day 1 when that early 23/24 season run had these visible defensive chinks.

We've done a great job of ABA - Anything But Ange for the entire season. He's had a good ride from the fans who have been very understanding of the accentuating circumstances he's worked in.

I wasn't convinced with all the narratives early days saying that the players would break due to Ange's methods but would grow much stronger as they return. That theory seems to be complete BS. We all know that Ange will just keep totting up more and more injuries, even when he could be pulling back in training and protecting them between games.

To use a practical example, I also feel that if David Moyes had joined Spurs a couple of weeks back, he would have them more organised than we're seeing. He would likely get a clean sheet, and we would be hard to break down. All that, and with the same players. I'm not enjoying the arrogance and self indulgence of Ange to keep trying to play the same way and leave us so vulnerable to conceding goals. It's amateur hour.

As I've written before, I have no fear of changing 1st team coaches. The direction of travel at our club is good. The next guy, who hopefully a much better coach, will have a field day with our setup.

The direction of travel of our club is good?

Wow. That's just amazing. The lack of awareness on here is staggering.

Everyone seems to think this is all on Ange. How can it be? We have had this nonsense for nigh on 25 years give or take 2 or 3 seasons where a manager and a certain Harry Kane changed the narrative.

This is normal for spurs under levy. It doesn't matter who the manager is.

Is it 6 managers in five seasons? Soon to be 7 if folks here get their way. Yeah we are definitely on the good travel of direction column.

fudges sake.

We are a banter club and always will be under Levy

I keep trying to tell myself that we will beat Leicester but we are shockingly bad at the back, any team can score. We are shot of confidence and I can see them easily going in at half time with a two nil lead and us having to come out all guns blazing to snatch a draw.

Unfortunately we are relegation material at the moment, not saying we will get relegated but our form is that and everyone wants to play us at the moment. Leicester will be licking their lips.

It's just who we are mate.

Leicester are even worse than us, 7 loses in a row in the league. They're not licking their lips at facing anyone.
If we can't beat Leicester I don't think there's any way that Ange can survive, he's had enough last chances at this stage.

I'd say the manager of whoever loses between us and Leicester could be gone.

If we lose to Leicester that it’s completely untenable even with the cups to come

I always thought it would be summer 26 he goes, but now after yesterday, where every criticism of him was fully vindicated, he is gone this summer

the numbers since those first 10 games last season are there for all to see. yes we have injuries right now, but thats masking a deeper issue.

he is not good enough for us, and not suited to the PL. we need to sack him now to salvage anything from this season, let alone ensure we stay up.

Luckily they're even worse than us, I don't think we'll be in a relegation battle but more so because there's a few really poor teams. We probably end up around 50 points.

I was saying we wont go down because I think thought there were 4 teams worse than us, one of them has just beaten us, one beat us at home a few weeks ago and we are playing one of the other 2 this weekend

I still think the 9pts gap will be enough buffer, but, lose to Leicester this weekend and its absolute panic stations

Leicester are probably the best team we could hope to be facing in our current state.

Panic stations would be if we were seeing these results without hope of much positive change.
The return of a number of players in the coming weeks and months means I'm nowhere near panic stations. Just in misery station.
