Frank did the right thing subbing him yesterday but I said to my mate he can’t sub him cos he’s the most likely to score for us and hey presto the best chance we had came from his side of the pitch which he probably would have scored but offers next to nothing else.

The ref was poor. Still not sure how Semenyo didn’t get a second yellow. Knew he was going to bottle it by his body language. That said it was an equally poor performance. Hopefully it might spur the club (excuse the pun) into action to sign another striker and winger.

Spence is much better 1 on 1. Maybe Frank didn’t think Udogie could play more than 45 mins. I like Porro but he does have some glaring weaknesses I.e. pace and height, he can’t do much about either but any winger with real pace is going to cause Porro problems.

Really disappointing performance, could have easily been 3 or 4 nil. Easy to forget Frank has just got here. Felt like the game was played exactly how Bournemouth wanted it to be played. Oh and can we sign Semenyo please?! Frank should have taken Porro off at HT and put him out of his misery...

Typical that he has a shocker when Solanke isn’t on the bench to replace him.

You just know someone has already saved this type of post in their drafts just in case we don’t get him.

Don’t get your hopes up lads till it’s on the website along with the phrase “we are delighted to announce the signing of Xavi Simmons”

Historically maybe but I don’t think that reflects religion in the UK today in 2025.

Sunderland will be circa 300 i imagine as we’ve not played them for a while.

I’ve lost 65. Ended last season on 281, then they added 40 and now I’m down to 256

The window hasn’t closed yet. Liverpool may get Isak. Emirates Marketing Project have added players. I think it will be very close between the three teams. Chelsea really ought to challenge as well given the amount they have invested.

Being overly polite is a British thing I’d say. Maybe not uniquely British but we are known for being reserved and polite. Liberal values in the sense of how we typically treat women, minorities, our views on equality etc. I honestly don’t know how to answer the part of I highlighted in bold.

Maybe not officially as the king is head of the Church of England for example. But unofficially we are not a religious country compared to America or even our European counterparts like Italy.

Definitely. The performances should improve as the season progresses. It’s about getting points and not letting any other team run away with the league. I was just surprised how one sided a contest it was even when they had an extra man. Let’s hope they play better and more importantly get three...

I went there last season and I have to say it was the best atmosphere I have experienced in this country. They are super loud and do really get behind the team.

It’s only week 2 but I’m already thinking like this. It was always going to be a tough game for Liverpool given the extra motivation for Saudi Sportswashing Machine which is never an easy place to go at the best of times, but it was crazy how little control of the game Liverpool had, even at 2-0 against 10 men it...

I would guess it means different things to different people, but I would saying being English/British is about politeness, being a nation with liberal values and norms, being a mostly secular nation, a tradition of literary and musical heritage, football/sport. I think there is anger towards...

Wasn’t his biggest fan but no chance we can let him go in this form. I just hope we’re not sitting here in a few days/weeks discussing yet another injury.
