Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

The Spurs Community ones are the worst for this, the last few days always brings promises of an exciting ending and big surprises, followed by vague posts about how we’re “working on something huge which has to be kept quiet through fear of outing a source”, quickly followed by some “would...

    Iliman Ndiaye

There was a post from Ali Gold saying we can’t loan two players from one club, so apparently the idea is loan Mudryk and buy Tosin.

I think my issue with Mudryk is that he wasn’t doing anything before his ban, he was already a bit of a forgotten player. It’s not as though he had the ban but before that he was killing it and the ban makes him a bit controversial, he wasn’t doing anything special anyway. I do get the idea of...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Meh, seems we’re pushing on with it - I’ll support them either way, perhaps RDZ gets a tune out of them, who knows.

    Iliman Ndiaye

I don’t think we’ve done anything wrong - I think it’s as simple as we were interested in Ndiaye, and a better, ready to win club came in. We’ve made some big moves this summer, this is just one that didn’t work out.

    Richarlison

Fairly happy for him to stay tbh, I think at some point in the season he’s nodding in a last minute equaliser or winner to nab us a point we would otherwise miss. Is he the best striker ever? Of course not, but he’s scored some important goals and if there isn’t a good move for him, I’m not...

    Iliman Ndiaye

Fair, I read both as a transfer for some reason but I still feel the same, given Mudryks career over the last couple of years, I don’t see him filling a space LWB couldnt. Sure, it could be argued Mudryk has prem experience, but I’m just not seeing the point in this. Nothing against Mudryk...

Both just seem like players we’ll be looking to shift again next summer. I think we’ve reached that point that if the quality isn’t there we just keep the money and look again come January and next summer. We’ve had a really good window and have added some good options to the squad, many of...

I’ve a recurring feeling we’re going to be linked with a last minute one for Mateta…

Good player and will add a lot of attacking intent, I’m just worried that we will have players flying down the wings and creating opportunities, and at the moment it’s either Solanke to convert or, Marmoush playing the role he did yesterday.

I think we sort of need to tbh. This would leave Solanke as our only real out and out striker, as Marmoush is good but a different type of player.

    Omar Marmoush

His thread hadn’t been bumped since the game, was just going to say I thought he looked pretty decent. Whether he is really a ‘9’ for us can be a debate or whether he should play up with a main focal point or from the left will likely work itself out. However I thought he showed good pace...

On the plus side, if Forest beat us 1-0 next week, the following game should be a 0-0 draw and our first point.

Guess, if you’re a spurs fan your first guess will be correct.

Eugh, still, I have faith we’ll get there. It needs to gel and we SHOULD be solid mid table by the end of the season.

Spot on. If Solanke starts the game instead of Marmoush the scoreline is still the same. I don’t think this is to do with who is playing up too.

I mean, you can have all the technical neat passers you want, occasionally you need a tall bloke to win headers.
