**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

He was poor in the games before the international break imho but been decent in the games since. Clearly it was a fitness issue.

I agree mate. On the other hand lots of goals have a bit of luck attached to them. See Madueke's goal against Forest which took a massive deflection on the way in. The crucial difference between yesterday and the Man Utd game imho was that we got more shots on target. When you do that there is...

Yeah not convinced by his defending. Needs a blocker next to him imho. Hopefully won’t get exposed against Chelsea at the weekend.

    Love him....

Van Hecke good player but goes to ground and over commits a little too often for my liking.

I thought he was doing really well tbh. It's exactly what we needed to keep the pressure off.

Liam Delap is utter gash. How Chelsea sold him for 50 million Ill never know!

    Rodrigo Bentancur

For me, I agree he is decent but his main fudge up was overcommitting in his tackle when he misplaced his pass. It was this that led to Bents being sent off in a subsequent passage of play.

He lacking confidence. Ben in and out with injuries. But as I said in his thread, he didn't hide and got his reward. Hopefully that can kick start him into some form. It's how it goes with strikers. We need to bring in another 9 in January too.

    Dominic Solanke

Obviously lacking in confidence and should have had at least 2 goals yesterday. But didn't hide and got his deserved reward at the end. Hope he can build on this!

As a team trying to learn the manager 's system that was a really exciting performance. Pre match, I thought that the team selection lacked creativity, couldn't understand why Fernandes wasn't in ahead of Bergvall (still think he should be) and the CB partnership was slow. But.... the pressing...

Strange selection from RDZ. Lacks creativity and no blocker or pace in the CBs. Let's see how we go.

My experience is that racism is not uniform. So it is hard to say what she has faced. But it may be that she has, in which case she is displaying very little empathy towards others who have suffered such abuse. To others who say racism has got worse, it's not for me to disagree with lived...

Horrifically Ill judged and will only lead to more antisemitism.

Braverman is confusing being “English” with Heritage. You can be English in terms of your culture, identity and values but you may be of a different heritage to a white, black or East Asian person. What she is doing is using the same racist tropes that the far right have used for years which...

IMHO Robertson was not needed and has not added the leadership we needed unlike Palhinha last season. We were well covered on that side and it meant Souza went out on loan. Regarding JPVH I agree. He’s a ball playing defender which is great but not at the expense of defending your own box. That...

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

The 48 game run where we have failed to win a game when going behind started in 2024 under Ange. It’s then continued under 3 subsequent managers. But it is just one of those strange stats because not only have managers come and gone but also the players are very different now than they were at...

We need to be solid across the back 4 first and foremost. Today is the 3rd game we’ve conceded 3 goals this season and we have only played 6 games! And against a Villa team themselves struggling to score. Everything flows from a solid base.

I am in a minority here who still thinks Solanke can be decent. Then again watching him today, he was flat footed and seemingly unfit when running back. Definitely one who needs to up his fitness and game.
