    Levy's Plan

I think that a clubs footballing department should have/needs to have an input beyond just kowtowing to whoever happens to be the manager at any given time. If we're giving a manager free reign then our footballing department is weak and needs improving. We'd have sold Bale before he kicked on...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

You say we're winning the funnel, which i agree is what we are *starting* to see, briefly in the Everton and Villa games, but unless the attacking unit do their part too it will not carry us far. Goals win you games, if you're not creating chances you're not likely to score many goals, if you're...

    Richarlison

I meant more so over preseason and in the Brentford game - i don't think we can take anything done last season, was all about doing whatever was required to stay up

    Richarlison

I think we probably only made an effort to sell him when the Ndiaye deal came about - it did seem pretty quiet wrt him moving on until that deal almost happened and iirc the consensus seemed to be we would be keeping him. I think that ties in with his posts about not letting others decide his...

Most of that means little wrt painting a picture of whether results are due to improve - although ironically the biggest indicator among that lot is our expected goals which is tracking at relegation form. Any side with lower than an xg of 40 (a little over 1 per game) has been relegated. We're...

How do you define class?? (Working, Middle, Upper)

I think there's the life you have built for yourself and the life you were raised in - the latter for me defines the person more than the former.

I think that's an extreme take, although i see and agree with (most) points just not the level you are going in on him for at this stage. Last season was a needs must situation, 7 games to stave off relegation - an entirely different proposition to going in to a new season with a transfer...

    Mathys Tel

I just said i thought it was a better comparison, i didn't claim for it to be the same. You know, leaving a player out of the Euro squad entirely / the league squad entirely vs a one off game while retaining the opportunity to select the player again.

    Mathys Tel

Tel was replaced by Solanke in the Euro squad in January, about 7 months in to Franks time at the club, which is longer than RDZ has had with any of our players. I think that's a fair enough time for the manager to make an informed decision.

    Mathys Tel

It's a false equivalence. We have a deep squad - someone has to miss out of the match day squad. He's there to be used if required. The better comparison involving Tel would be when Frank left him out of the European squad. I'm sure everyone was equally nonplussed about that as they are with this 👀

We're not losing the game in the middle of the pitch, it's actually the one area we've managed to improve

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

I'm not feeling that tbh, i don't think we've set up in a way that invites these sorts of sucker punches or situations - we're just not good enough in terms of quality on the pitch (i know I'm repeating myself here)
