Enjoyed watching him play today. Good range of passing and defended adequately,

The Case for the Attacking play

Thought we were good for 30 minutes today but still so many bad decisions and lack of execution, and im worried that it’s just their level (recent goal counts suggest so). I’ve been critical of Solanke since he joined, was told to be patient etc. My goodness, one of the most limited strikers...

Nothing wrong with JPVH and Tonali btw. Appreciate they are the spacegoats but they’ve done their jobs fine.

He’s complete cr@p. Have no idea how you burn through 400m and the first 100m isn’t to sign a proper forward.

Said the same to my son. Think it was the landing as he was holding his side. Same as Gray. Maybe the pitch is really hard!?

Same old story. Stronger players, good performance, nobody to put the ball in the net. Typified by the moment Savio hooked one back into the penalty spot area. Solanke and Marmoush both went towards goal and three CMs all looking at eachother 40 yards out. These are the opportunities we have to...

I think this is part of our problem at the moment. No offence but I don’t think some of our fans realise how limited we still are. 3 forwards that don’t generally put the ball in the net, no real creativity in midfield, and our creative first choice right back out. Opposition who are unbeaten...

The Case for the Attacking play

Are you happy with the striker situation? Options B and C banished. Option A can’t get a start even when nobody else is fit. I honestly think it’s poor planning and I don’t need to see 19 games to assess that. Win, lose or draw it’s poor. Ps. I left off the bit about signing a player who...

The Case for the Attacking play

I was going to start a similar topic today but work took over. The question is, how have the football leaders at the club spent close to a national debt and come out the other side with nobody that can put the ball in the net? Do you think they even know? It’s frightening how clueless they...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I'm hoping he's only mentioning Fernandes as a 10 as he is trying to shoe horn him in and the proper 10s are unavailable. So its more " He CAN play there" rather than "He WILL play there". There is a bumpy road coming up when one of the true 10s is available and he has to choose 2 of Tonali...

That’s exactly what XG highlights vs shots on target. One great chance and one really good chance, both missed the target. You could argue Porro had a shot on target from 40 yards. Would be 0.01 XG.

Agree. Muddled thinking all through the summer is now playing out. My firm belief as I’ve always posted is Lange, VV and the owners are clueless.

Don’t underestimate the effect of a focal point and how it helps create space for those around him. + he does put the ball in the net.

You do realise there’s a middle ground between happy clapping and writing the team off. People are entitled to air their lack of enthusiasm over certain starters.

You’re saying it like it’s not much difference. I’d you make 3 changes in attack - eg. Marmoush left, Savio right. Kudus 10. Solanke up top - your attacking threat goes up by about 500%
