**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

Fingers crossed we see Fernandes and Tonali together with either Marmoush or Maddison in the 10. Coventry will create chances on the break but Van Der Van can help minimise that.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Few good points already made. My own summary: Yes, we are playing well. But we’ve seen teams that play well finish very low down the table in seasons gone by, even relegated. Two reasons for that, no quality up top and powder puff at the back. We’ve shown signs of both. The forward line does...

    Sandro Tonali Official

He did intimate pre international that he’s using him in the 10 to cover not having a fit one but also said he thinks he can play there fine. Yesterday confused matters even more. The quicker he realises he’s in DM/CM or nothing the better.

With Bents suspended maybe against Coventry we finally see Fernandes and Tonali together. A good win there and the season is off and running.

So happy we got a deserved point there and happy that Tonali got an assist as I think his excellent performance might have gone unnoticed.

Not only have we gambled on Solanke. We’ve also done our beans on players (some of them attacking players) that don’t put the ball in the net. The stats and data were there.

Exactly. The management have gambled on Solanke being their man until January and it’s failed badly.

My Mrs just said, “he’s been everywhere”. Which is fair. But that’s the trade off against actual quality. What would be good is if he could pop up with one of his goals when it matters.

It will come because ultimately they have attacking players that can out the ball in the net.

Watch Solanke in our build ups. He’s like a lame dog. Cant show any burst into a dangerous position.

He’s so pony! He’s even shot it the side where the defender was on the line.

Shame the Sky Sports brains trust didn’t ask about Fernandes.
