Understood. There’s an element of self-preservation in my negativity. And some superstition thrown in for good measure.

    James Maddison

Moyes has always come across as honest and respectful. He’ll be fully aware of the fact that Everton have a significant role in the outcome. I expect his team to perform well.

I’m very pessimistic this morning tbh. West Ham have been thrown a few lifelines at this stage and you’d think they’ll eventually grab one. As for us it feels like we’re destined to go down. It’s hard to argue that we don’t deserve it based on how we’ve stank the place out over the past 2...

Regardless, to go into the last game with relegation hanging over us is fudging disgraceful. Heads should roll.

Could someone plug out/in the fudging database before Sunday.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Not going to relax until we get 1 more point. But he’s done brilliantly so far and I think he’s the right manager for us. He has a chip on his shoulder. It’s what we need. We need to back him.

Hang on, you mean there are 2 threads? I thought it was the same one that changed its name every few minutes.

Liverpool are making a virtue out of sticking with their current manager. They’ll soon learn.

    Scottish Football

It’s ruining football. It’s brought a huge element of lottery (which can be cynically exploited) that wasn’t there before.

Have long since got sick of Wilson and his cheap shots.

A draw would still keep them behind us going into the final weekend regardless of our result against Chelsea. I’d be happy with that. I think if we go into the game v Everton knowing that a win would mean survival we’ll do it.

I’m being pessimistic by assuming West Ham will get 6 pts and optimistic thinking we can get 4. Given my appalling history of predicting anything you can take it that none of the above will happen.

Yes, a draw v Chelsea is enough provided we beat Everton.

I know. But Villa away looked difficult too. 1 pt v Chelsea and 3 v Everton. Yeah, clutching at straws.

Take a draw and 4 more points will see us safe. Lose and it’s a lot more difficult.

It’s a lifeline for West Ham though. Big time.

Their mindset. They target winning the league every season - even when they’re not very good. I’m not sure what our target is.
