Showed some personality today which he'll need going forwards.

If Frank can learn to prioritise the young players who can play football we can have a good building season. I don't think you can play any kind of system with Richarlison and only one on the break with Johnson. The reason teams like Bournemouth and Palace do so well is they have technical...

Reminds me of the Villa game, could easily of got something out of that. Hopefully we're luckier today.

Lost one of the guys up front who can play football.

It hasn't been as bad as Bournemouth or Chelsea but that's a low bar.

I think it's a combo of losing so much at home over the past year and Arsenal doing so well. I think every fan has entitlement, I'm always somehow a little shocked when we lose, feels like a slap in the face - even after all these years.

They don't seem to believe in closing players down when they're crossing and shooting. Very VvD when he can't be arsed.

I've come round to your way of thinking mate. Him and Richarlison are too terrible at football to be 2/3 of an attack. I know Frank needs to rotate but he's made too many changes here, two games in a week as a one off was a risk worth taking to keep the momentum going. The left side is turbo...

Porro has been brick on the ball this season.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Dawson a better pure defender than Romero or VdV and far far superior in the air.

I don't disagree at all, almost feel like VdVs skill set fits a left wing back better than a CB. I actually think Dawson and King were a better partnership than the current two too. They complimented each other so well.

    Yves Bissouma

I prefer watching him to Bentancur (not saying he's a better player or better for how we want to play).

Me too. Vertonghen was better on the ball than either of the current two and both the Belgians were more switched on defensively and better in the air. This is without getting into rashness or availability.

Honestly I think VdV would be like Cafu at FB.

***Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea***, Premier League, Nov 1st 2025 at White Hart Lane

Boring game between two boring teams but we deservedly lost. They won it in central midfield but they spent 200m pounds there on two players while we have to take punts on the very expensive rung below that level like Xavi who may well come good but didn't look a natural fit for the league (he...

    (Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

Feel like we could get more than half the money spent back for him - he is a good player on the break and there will always be midtable and lower sides who could get the best out of him.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Monaco ** 22/10/25.

Think we're at a point, or past it possibly, where we need to give Frank two years as intelligent potential managers will be being put off by the amount of managerial churn at the club.

When we did throw caution to the wind against Villa we easily could have scored, lesson for Frank there really.
