    Igor the Departed

First impressions matter. When asked today if Spurs are avoiding relegation and he said ‘100%’ that is an easy buy in for me. Confidence is contagious. Hope he goes down as a cult hero and sails into the distance, with what I expect is a handsome bonus for prem safety in his back burner. I know...

Just wish this was 2 or 3 games into the Tudor dynasty so the players could have adjusted. Into them from the off. No excuses

The rumours about the actor have been around for a long time, it’s not just linking him to it for a cheap joke

Apparently the David Jason nonce files are set to drop shortly but there's no point in putting him in prison as he’ll just fall through the bars

Interim Manager Discussion - Igor Tudor joined until end of season

Seems an old fashioned thing to ask but does anyone know if he can speak English? Will be key to getting his message across in a short time

Interim Manager Discussion - Igor Tudor joined until end of season

Stars could align that we get Juve in the champions league and we get to knock them out the same season Tudor was sacked by them

From a brief look up he does have relegation battle experience with Udinese where he kept them up

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I may be misinterpreting the role of a DoF but I get the impression the first paragraph, especially the well oiled machine part, is down to them as much as the manager. Or at least they pick a coach that does all those things with a certain philosophy in mind

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I fully agree with the highlighted parts. Take VDV for instance, he did an interview for sky this season saying he still believed in Ange’s philosophy of football. I thought it was slightly strange to be doing that while Frank was here. Like pining for an ex in front of your current partner...

I get the feeling the Nepos are always going to be one step too late with big decisions. They sacked Levy after the transfer window shut when they could have done it earlier, made a marquee signing and announced things are going to be different now. After the January transfer window shut a...

    These jokers…

Just guesswork on my part but I’d imagine sorting out which of the backroom staff are staying here is being worked on and causing delays in the interim announcement. The announcement that will inevitably be Heitinga

The things being said about our current squad not being good enough echoes what was being said the season before Poch came in. They were being said by the interim manager at the time, no less

Zidane and Ancelotti both went back to Madrid and were successful. Moyes back at Everton has definitely united their fan base. There will be obvious examples but I’m struggling to think of examples when it didn’t work out returning? Did Keegan go back to Saudi Sportswashing Machine briefly?

I would think Rodger’s wouldn’t accept being interim for the rest of the season. If the board want him it would be a 3 year contract. Can’t deny he plays good football but he’s always creeped me out, though I doubt that’s a factor the board are considering

Would be a gamble on his part but the pay off could be worth it. Do well with us for the remainder of the season knowing he won’t get the job permanently, his stock rises here as a manager similar to Carrick

That’s part of my thinking for why they wouldn’t want to appoint him. The fans would turn on the board before Poch, they might like someone else to take the bullets

Difference being the football that is played. I can’t think of any manager that stepped up in level to a bigger club and played pragmatic and defensive football and been a success. There are examples of managers stepping up and playing attacking front foot football and doing well. I think...

That is true, the statement put out of Ange’s sacking was the first that Levy didn’t have his name on, so from that point on it was a committee
