I gave up smoking in 2009. Very very occasionally I get the temptation for it. I have it BIG time now. Won’t succumb, not least because I’m on my own so no one to scrimp off. But it’s bloody depressing, even though I didn’t expect more than a point from today.

    Cristian Romero

The difference being he hasn’t been sent off just yet.

About 5 mins from the end, when Richie was ploughing forward with the ball, why was Muani not busting a gut to get up there for the pass? Jogging along.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I can’t help but find this a bit disrespectful tbh. Ok Frank wasn’t the right man for us but he’s not a bad person and not a bad coach. This just validates for me that Romero, despite being our captain, wasn’t playing for the better good of the team.

Same here (but without the kick in the nuts bit). Having been away for February and March it feels like a lifetime since I last watched us. Up in Sunderland now and I am bizzarely really looking forward to it. At least I can hang onto that feeling for another 90 minutes at least!

I can’t help think a cornered Trump is a dangerous animal. He has to get a settlement out of this that he can sell as a win, however tenuous that might be. Otherwise the consequences could set the world back for years (economically at least, never mind the loss of innocent lives). . Netanyahu...

So attempting to negotiate a peace settlement is now a one-day thing? I appreciate both sides need to come to the table in good faith, but it should be left to the diplomats to slug it out, not high level fly-in fly-out politicians.

    Famous Spurs Fans

I have no idea who that is. But if he supports Spurs he has both my admiration and my sympathy.

    Danny Blanchflower

I remember reading this autobiography back in the late 80s. https://www.amazon.co.uk/double-before-autobiography-Danny-Blanchflower/dp/B0000CL8DS I don't recall much about the content, what I do remember is it was lent to me by someone at work and it was signed by the Double winning team. I've...

I’ve got a family (on Mr GL’s side) baptism to attend tomorrow. Pretty much all West Ham fans with a couple of Gooners thrown into the mix. I can’t wait ☹️ In fairness they are all good people and there won’t be anything above a little bit of ribbing but I’m not very good at taking that when it...

Which is exactly why we should all be supporting any attempt to overthrow the current aithoritarian, religious, restrictive regime. Yet somehow Trump has somehow managed to make us want him to be totally humbled and humiliated (whilst not wanting to see the current regime prosper).
