Maybe he can be part of our promotion push next season?

    Scottish Football

Both clubs fans are a stain on the game. I hope we never ever see either playing in the English league as was proposed several years ago. They can keep their sectarian nonsense North of the border.

    Djed Spence

I would. I think he could be a superb right back in the right system for the right manager.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

Mate. When you have total debt of £1.2b and net debt of over £1b and your revenue suddenly halves that's worse than 'not ideal'. £1.2b of debt for a business with revenues of £600m is OK. £1.2b of debt for a business who's revenue suddenly drops to £300m and has had recent history of both...

    Levy's Plan

Several. Most of them look out for their clients best interests. Just as in any industry there are a few out there who are instead looking out for their own best interests. However, I have seen many young players who have been badly taken advantage of by football clubs when they don't have...

    Levy's Plan

A football agent that I trust told me a story that Baldini accidentally signed Benjamin Stambouli (he got the names mixed up and thought he was signing somebody else from Montpellier).

    Baldini?

High press, man for man. Turnover the ball high and get players and the ball into the box early is one way. Mid block out of possession, long ball in possession is another. CMs job is just to run and tackle.

    Levy's Plan

I think you’re the one playing dumb. I think he had complete control of how the club spent its revenue. Yes he had to operate within certain parameters (I.e. balance the books for the company he owned 30% of) but he still had sole control of a higher revenue and bigger wage and transfer budget...

The *WHEN* we go down thread

In the last set of published accounts we had £337 of transfer debt and £852m of stadium debt, so close to £1.2b of total debt Against that we had £79m of cash and were owed £58m in transfer fees. That is an extremely scary amount of debt if we were to drop to the championship.

    Levy's Plan

He had absolute power at THFC. He was the basically the sole decision maker at the club.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

We were in 4th place the PL when Conte was sacked.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

Completely disagree with your first paragraph but agree with the second and third.

I think he supports Daniel Levy.

    Will Lankshear

Looks like he has improved his link up play, which is good to see as that and his movement off the ball both needed a lot of work a year ago.

    Levy's Plan

You realise that Levy is one third of ENIC right?

    Levy's Plan

I think where we are right now shows it was absolutely right to o get rid of Levy. He is the architect of this. If (when) we do go down then our huge stadium debt could see us go into administration if we don’t bounce back up first time.

    Levy's Plan

He WAS ENIC mate (30% of it anyway)

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

My thoughts are that the academy is putting an emphasis on producing winning youth teams instead of producing youth players that can be successful in the first team. I wonder if that is because those in leadership positions at youth level are judged on where there finish in the league/what...

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

The chairman stripping costs down to the bone in the recruitment department at the very time when we needed to be better informed and smarter than the rest of the PL. I think this happened because of horrendous overspend on the stadium chasing the illusion of an NFL franchise to boost the...
