The number one thing I see is get the ball wide and cross into the box if there is >0 Tottenham players in the box.

I wouldn't shift all the blame to attack. There are times we are slow to support, or when they do support they run right into the opposition defensive line instead of moving into spaces.

Exactly this. Forget formations - I thought we had an opportunity to build on what Spence did against Dortmund- the intent against Dortmund and today was there to be seen. My concern is what happens when he gets players back. Will he go back to boring pragmatic again?

So why focus just on him? It's a team issue. Our passing options are poor, at times execution of the basics isn't good enough. But when the team knows what they are doing the are less errors. If you said his shooting is shocking, I would agree with you. That's him. But I think his errors...

But he isn't alone in that. We have 8 defensive players in our top 10 most errors made. Is that a problem?

I thought we had intent today but I wasn't a fan of the formation. I felt we didn't really win the midfield battle, and slowed our attack down too much. There were times we broke and the options were poor.

Looking at the stats, most errors per game is Xavi. He is they guy that is expected to carry the ball and try risky passes. My issue with players losing possession is 8 of our top 10 players to lose possession are defensive players. Only attackers are Richy and Xavi. Defenders should be able...

We too stupid to appoint another Poch type manager. We will find with all out attack or pragmatic. Then restart rebuilding the squad for yet another system

I think Palinha can do a job if he can release the ball quicker to the attacking players. Sometimes you have to back the player to do something with the ball. Sending it back to the defenders doesn't really help. However, be has to be the CDM and not be part of a defensive double pivot...

This is quite funny... Tel has been backed? 527 minutes this season in PL and he hasn't been injured. Tel is only playing due to lack of options. But yes you saw that Tel was getting loads of game time this season. Compare that to Muani who has had nearly double that and been absolute rubbish...

Di Matteo won a UCL. Didn't last long the following season. I think the main thing is the team needs to show something in the league too. We can't rely on winning the UCL to qualify for the UCL (at some point it becomes unrealistic lol). If we finish 17th, and win the UCL, would top players...

    Xavi Simons

Wasnt a signing I wanted as I was never really impressed with him. However, the first thing that got me was he wants to move forward and he has fight in him. We need runner in front and from midfield, and players that will get the ball into him quickly. I think against Dortmund, Gray and...

Why hasn't the manager backed Tel? Why are people moaning about attackers not being good enough? Getting behind everyone at the club would help, right? Remember the support Levy had? What about the protests for change? Everyone should just get behind the entire club, not just the manager...

This for me is it. Midfield should be setting the tempo and assisting with transition. This insistence of playing Bergvall as a no10 earlier in the season was annoying... It took his energy away from where it was needed. So good at CM

I don't think there is any reason to reset after just one game. It's more than results, it's use of the squad, it's intent - the fact that some people believe the squad is as bad as Franks football portrays, and for me the way he has ruined Bergvall. People might say he made an inspired...

But will the players give their all if the club don't back him... It's a real stick or twist situation.

Totally agree. Now here's a question... How much do we go back him in the last week of the window to keep going in UCL? We either back him now until summer or run the rapids and see what happens

To be honest, I was looking forward to seeing Bergvall start in his proper position. He is just so good there, a proper energetic midfielder that moves the ball. I said before the game it looked at interesting midfield 5, and they were brilliant
