    Political sympathy with terrorists. Those two should have emptied every single round they had. Even if they still hadn't made it, we can all agree they'd have improved the world significantly on their way out.

    I'd say opposable thumbs are more evolved than not. Larger brains are more evolved than not. Everything that got selected out (like empathy, hopefully) is less evolved.

    Keep up. I mentioned it earlier today. 18 USC 111 makes it a crime to (amongst other things) impede an agent from performing their duties. It also has been used to prosecute people fleeing from arrest and/or refusing to leave their vehicles. So only the three federal crimes.

    Sounds a bit like Northern Ireland. I suspect that at some point in the fairly near future we'll have a Labour govt stupid enough to just give it away. When that happens, we might pretend to listen to the people there, but the decision will be made over their heads.

    The car isn't moving when he moves to the front. He's not acting tactically or trying to arrest at that point, he's filming evidence with his phone. He has no reason to suspect the occupant will either resist arrest or try and drive into him.
