Far from it, I think his economic policies are terrible. But that doesn't mean everything he does is wrong. Toppling someone like Maduro is an unambiguous right.

    American politics

How many other countries are as physically close to the US with such close ties to Iran, Russia and China? I wouldn't be surprised to see Nicaragua get closer to Russia and then the US gets involved there. But mostly, South America has been cured of the communist disease and it should thank...

They would have had to stop a country on their doorstep that was building Russian munitions and importing Iranian drones regardless. The oil just makes it pay for itself.

Maybe they can't. But I don't think the US wants an end to the "No nukes in our back garden" agreement.

Do you genuinely think the US would have invaded Venezuela if they were a Western democracy with friendly ties to the US? I love the wishful thinking about oil not being required but unfortunately, the world doesn't run on nice ideas and unicorn brick.

That's good news. I'll look forward to the Russian munitions factories completing their first batch of cuddly unicorn toys any day now. Almost as much as I'll look forward to those Iranian drones being used for a Pride display.

The US tried regime change in Cuba for years. Since the missile crisis, the US has had an agreement with Russia that Cuba doesn't store nukes if the US doesn't attack. It's clearly the best decision for everyone that the US doesn't attack.

    American politics

It poses a huge threat. Any country with close ties to China and Russia is a danger. One within missile/drone range, particularly so.

They tried, for a long time.

That's far too simplistic a take on things. The real (and very valid) issue for the US is there being a Russian/Chinese puppet with close ties to Iran and Cuba on their doorstep.

    (Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

He's scored the same goals per 90 as Salah and that Reindeer bloke at City. Makes £35m feel a bit cheap.

    (Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

As much as I like him as a player, I don't think he was ever right for Spurs. As you've said, he thrives on being able to run into space behind - we've not been afforded that except against the top teams in a long time now. He thrives on space, which we've been terrible at creating for...

We won't get relegated. The three at the bottom are so bad we could probably stay up with our current points.

I'd settle for the players knowing.

You'd have to ask Levy why he sacked him. If you read the contemporary news articles at the time, the players had stopped playing for him. That probably had something to do with it.

There is more to it, but I defy anyone (even Ange) to fail with Modric and Bale in a team.

    (Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

Yet the three most successful managers in the PL are Ferguson, Mourinho and the child catcher. (Or has Guardiola overtaken?) Not people who particularly cared about being liked, but insisted on respect and obedience from their players.

With some of the best players in the world in their squads.
