So do we smack an over or two then get them in under the lights? Makes sense to me.

    No it won't! :tearsofjoy:

I'm not sure that's entirely on the teams. Teams rely on spin less than they used to, seamers will always bowl slower overs. Teams also attack the ball more. More boundaries also means slower overs. I think you'd be hard pushed to show that you get less entertainment for your money in a day...

Not sure what the Aussies are doing here. We've got a batsman trying to get in, it's his first test in years, and they offer him Green to smack around for a bit.

And continued that way. Swiping at balls that weren't there to be swiped at. Lucky he wasn't out two overs ago swinging at the high ones.

    Redundancy Advice please Glenda

In which case, it's worth remembering that from a business pov, once the decision to reduce labour has been taken, the rest is an exercise in risk management. Some places will rest on a team of lawyers who are on retainers so there's no cost in using them. For most, the path of least...

Absolutely. He's managed fudge all with complete air supremacy at all stages and no long range ordinance for his enemy. Imagine how badly it would go for him with Moscow getting obliterated around him.

    Redundancy Advice please Glenda

How many people are they making redundant. Sorry, how many roles are at risk of redundancy? [/tossspeak] As has been mentioned, there's an obligation to go through a consultancy process and if there's enough roles at risk, it's quite a lengthy one. No decisions can be made and no timers can...

True, but spinning on dirt is easier than spinning on grass. So is spinning with a spongy ball.

Might find it a little easier in country where they can't prepare a pitch or use a proper ball.

So he is assisting in prosecuting people who defended us against terrorists. There's a far quicker, cheaper and fairer way to deal with the claims - tell them to go fudge themselves. Your friend should have conscientiously objected to the role or made up some kind of link whereby he couldn't...

I agree. But that's not the same as claiming they're in poverty. Nor is it the same as making up a definition of poverty outside of what most would consider it to be.

Someone who tries to prosecute those who risked their lives to protect us from terrorists? Lowest of the low. Inhuman scum. Worse than nonces and wife beaters. Even worse than gingers.

Fair enough, but you should really reconsider describing people like that as a friend. People will judge you for that kind of thing, and not in a good way.

You keep talking about poverty. Can you back that up with some data?

It couldn't be more different. The only similarity is that it's free at the point of use (for German citizens). We have a monolithic, prehistoric, broken system of healthcare that started as a ridiculous idea at its inception and has only been made worse by successive governments since. The...
