***Tottenham Hotspur v Everton*** - OMT

I'd love Grealish in my squad though - we had porro and johnson to mark him and they barely managed to get any balls off him. three or four occasions he dribbled past BOTH of them in quick succession. everton have a bunch of brutes pretending to be football players - all huff and puff but no...

well they stopped a lot coming through the centre; on the other hand they also didn't do a lot to help the attack through the centre. so maybe they were focused on just breaking up play and maintaining their central presence - which they did very well.

we don't play well in the rain but that was a TF victory with the set pieces and defending structure love it that in the second half we didn't chase the ball to the keeper instead waited at the half way line before the press started don't love it that xavi and muani look far off in terms of...

    25/26 Injury and illness thread

harder this time to say for sure because the we are not topping running and sprinting stats. give it at least a full season to let TFs changes set in.

start richy and if he's not threatening his old club then ruthlessly sub him at the start of the 2nd half for muani. its all about on field performance - let the fight for places begin !

    Randal Kolo Muani

TF may be the most conservative manager when it comes to line up. Probably been told that spurs players are made of glass and i don't blame him three players just returned from the internationals injured - watch how they miraculously heal in time for the next international break.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Monaco ** 22/10/25.

i think its because sarr who has ample exposure and while his development though positive, it is inching forward, not making the great strides necessary for bentancur who seems unable to hit his pre-injury heights and biss who has gone backwards (and now missing).

I observed those in the villa game too... 1. i think there is a lack of chemistry (clash of egos?) between porro and kudus 2 and 3. The midfield runs generally under TF have been undisciplined or random - Sarr, Bentancur, Bergvall and even Palhinha. I don't see a pattern and neither do the...

    Xavi Simons

TF needs time to continue building from defence to attack. Doesn't help that two of our regular starting defenders get injured after the internationals. because or injuries and late transfers, i believe TF is still learning about the players in midfield and attack. my guess is that TF will...

    Xavi Simons

it looks like TF has got Xavi doing the right things but the other players are not good enough to find him i believe muani is the key to unlocking his potential because he can play across the front three, giving TF more options (including benching the other young ones who don't want to pass early)
