    Let’s be honest, they really should have won the title already, 2022/23 they totally bottled it and should have won it. Them and Chelsea should be winning it in the next couple of seasons given the money they’ve spent. Chelsea at least have a European trophy to show for it.

    They overachieved massively when Emery came in and he did a brilliant job for 2.5 seasons. As you say, they don’t have the spending power to maintain it. That’s why you have to win things in the window you get when you’re a good team. And they need to rein in their spending on wages.

    They could do. CL more likely I’d say as that’s more of a crapshoot. They’re very similar to us under Poch. Not sure they have the mentality to get over the line despite having the players. No excuses anymore, they’ve spent more than enough money to have won something by now.

    He rarely gets fouls because he goes down way too easily. Harry Kane used to get the calls because he stayed on his feet more often and because he was England captain.

    I don’t think richarlison is strong enough at times. He’s a big guy. He should be more of a physical presence than he is at times. He got bullied by Bournemouth and barely won a header or a tackle and he kept losing the ball.
