    World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

Yeah maybe The logical way would be because there's no stops the season could finish 4-6 weeks earlier, then everyone could go to camp. Less travel during the season, less so street form wise. If I was a international manager I'd much prefer it especially before a big tournament. A month...

    World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

But the season would be shorter as a result and add no extra time to their schedule. If anything they would be travelling less.

    World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

Is the answer Have it as one long camp, actually work on tactics and play all international games at the same time. A system that benefits clubs, international teams and the fans.

They were lining up for tap ins at points in the 2nd half before conceding the penalty. It's been a classic old skool Tottenham performance from Palace.

Nice variation from Ange there adopting 'The Thinker' pose. Added to the head shake, hands in pockets and hands outstretched he already had in his locker.

Palace threw about 100 chances away before Everton scored. Been battering them.

Ref has been decent. Makes for a much better game when all the dives aren't given and play isn't stopped for fake injuries.

Must be nice for him. He fudging ran away from Caciedo, tried to Jedi mind trick him into passing it wide. That's from the skipper.

Van Dyke is a bit of a fraud. Doesn't want anything physical, doesn't want to get involved in a race. Just likes to look calm and composed.

Johnson is one striker closer to starting up front.

Spemce is interesting. Thought he looked poor at RB myself, thought he'd combine driving forwards with passing/crossing as it is his natural side bu tit never happened. As an attacking force down the left once he's carried it forwards ( which he does well) he doesn't really offer anything cause...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

The issues with playing with more risk, which seems to be a theme for forever is that when we do, we're unable to marry it with the defensive side of the game. I remember us beimg great going forward under Jose until we capitulated in that West Ham game and he realised that we were unable to be...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I think with the change from all our attack to more balance the first thing that would get sacrificed would be creating and scoring (although that had dried up towards the end of last season as well). Maddison and Kulu both being out is a hammer blow to our creativity. As is having no striker...

Thats the sacrifice you make for more team shape, less gung ho. I'd rather be harder to beat than free scoring as a basis for success. What it is doing is asking the players to do more, have more individual quality. Sink or swim situation for players. When Kulu and Maddison are back we're...

Dunno We've got lots of games and minutes need to be managed, particularly someone like Kudus.

In the discussions last season some of us raised the point that for him to continue scoring like he was would make him elite levels of winger. It was pointed out the goals would likely slow down and he'd need staples to fall back on, the normal winger stuff of dribbling, passing and crossing.

Credit to Frank The subs turned us into somewhat of a functioning unit attacking wise. Serious discussions need to be had with Johnson and what he wants from his career.
