Think today was a glimpse of Frank's attacking game plan and it looked good and worked well.

Good point that. Simons looks great in the middle. Johnson was beyond pathetic in holding up the ball (or even showing for it properly). Thought Udogie was brilliant but Kudus was MoM.

Bergval descending into a nightmare game here.

To be fair to the Pav, we wouldn't have made it into the CL that first time without his goals.

It was one where the advantage to us looked so outrageously huge (though fair) the ref thought he had to call a foul. Like how it used to be when a last man got tackled (fairly or not).

Been impressed with Richarlison's hold up play today. Much better than usual. He's spun his man a few times and everything.

I think the Kudus one was worse. We definitely would have scored there, we had Kudus totally free and two men over and I didn't see anything like a foul unless there was a clip.

Think we've been the better side but not the most dangerous. Not sure if those are mutually exclusive or not though.

Ever since Hughton left they have been a bogey team, under him they were a routine three points.

Guess we can see why Frank hasn't got us playing a more expansive game so far. Higher up the pitch today and passing pretty well but killed on the counter.

    Rodrigo Bentancur

Think he's starting to look more mobile again, twisting and turning in tight spaces.

Just caught up with the game. Was a little surprised how much lower the intensity was than the Prem. Bergval is our most reliable player in terms of moving the ball forwards and doing the right things.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Liked how relaxed and humorous he was with the players coming off on Saturday.

Arsenal struggle to score from open play and always finish second.

    Xavi Simons

Just watching him carry the ball is a bit of a treat, moves very smoothly.

Frank very pragmatic here, knowing they can't defend corners and then forcing 8 (was it?) in the first half alone was impressive. Encouraging that both our box to box players scored, I don't think we should play both Bentancur and Paulhinha against midtable teams (a problem against Bournemouth)...

Did anyone get the lines on that? Looked off to me - not a good thing if they stop showing them.

I'm not convinced - it would take an incredible amount of self hatred for the toxicity not to be directed at us. The likes of which I've never seen.

It's going to be absolutely fascinating seeing how he gets on there, how their injuries are, etc. Good for the league to have situations/stories like this.

Feel like putting two middle aged Greek men into a high pressure situation is worse than any combo of two nationalities apart from a handful of ntabke exceptions.
