    I expect it's an age thing but the FA cup always seemed a massive trophy to me, it was a day when it appeared the whole nation was watching. The Palace final was the first I've watched for ages.

    I agree with your sentiments to an extent but virtually everyone is contrite when they have been been caught out and may be suffering the penalties of their actions, the courts are full such cases. We live in a world where few seem aware there are consequences to their actions.

    I hated going to Wembley, I suppose it was our only real alternative but it never had the atmosphere of a home ground to me and rarely seemed to intimidate our opponents, quite the reverse in some cases.
