***Spurs vs West Ham Untd***, PL, 13th September 2025 at The London Stadium

I really want us to win this, meeting up with old schoolmates next week and one is a Hammer.

Champions League 25/26: Dortmund, PSG, Villarreal, Frankfurt, Slavia, Bodø/Glimt, Copenhagen, Monaco

I will not be embarrassed, maybe all the people who moan they can't get a seat will be? There are too many games, UEFA have taken an elite competition and downgraded it in their greed.

Yeah my mum had a big wardrobe like him took about three of us to move it, I think it might have been quicker than him.

I agree, think it was a mental thing. I was told by a couple of guys who were ITK at Middlesex he was a fiery character and could upset the dressing room.

I'll trump you with Mark Ramprakash, he has Indo/West Indian/British heritage, don't know his belief. Along with David Gower and Tom Graveney the most stylish English batsman I've seen.

I believe there were 2 South Asians to play cricket for England before Shah, Ranjisingh and the Nawab of Pataudi, Ranji I think was a Hindu and the Nawab Muslim, both princes. The Nawab played for England v Australia in the infamous Jardine tour and was dropped after disagreeing with the...

I believe it's good to see young kids inspired by players they have a connection with. I never played with a non white footballer until I was in my 20's, he was a Sikh. I don't think a person's religion is anybodies business, when will get the stats on Catholic, Christian Sciences etc. I do not...

    Yves Bissouma

I didn't know it meant throwing someone out of a window until I saw the play "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" in the 70's

It's a very popular way of removing political opponents in many countries. I think somewhere in Belgium a group of city councils where defenestrated by a mob.

    Yves Bissouma

IMO Bissouma is definitely a suitable candidate for defenestration

    Lessons from Bill Nick

I use to see Bill Nicholson parking his car in the school behind WHL and always addressed him as Mr Nicholson, he had an aura of authority and I deeply respected him.

    Lessons from Bill Nick

Very good video, the picture of Bill with a couple of young player reminded me that the lad on the far right was Steve Pitt the first player I saw play for us who was younger than me, I think the other boy was Paul Shoemark a prolific goalscorer at schoolboy level but he never made it with us.

Williams-Barnett IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A LWB, I don't know where this ridiculous idea comes from, obviously somebody who has never seen him play. He's a very talented attacking midfield player, much better than U18 level, I would consider giving him time against Doncaster if the situation was...

    The Cricket Thread

You've got to appreciate that Test cricket is a bloody nuisance to crash bang cricket and the money rules along with the ICC. Gone are the days of a couple of warm up games along with 3/4 matches between test. If a batsman doesn't get in the 1st test he sits waiting for injuries or heavy defeat...

Richie was a great bloke met him a few times, the best TV commentator no bias from him he loved the game and the way it should be played, one of Australia's best captain and not a bad player.

    Ingerlund

The whole match was a non event with 3 Villa players in squad they couldn't sell out and most of the players opted for the safe option when they had the ball. It's not easy playing against such tactics but the pace England played at was terrible and we never appeared to discomfort their defence...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Luckily I had the companies legal department to go through all contracts with me, it use to annoy the life out of some companies who were tied to their standard contract.
