https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67830263 Link to an article on the Beeb on Udogie. Nice that someone is talking up our players for a change.

Good news. It will be even better when he is ready to use both balls let alone one of his feet...

The Game Is About Glory Podcast

Great pod chaps, a perfect summing up of last night for the moderate Spurs fan.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

We don't have any of them! Maybe I'm just getting old. I was quite disappointed we didn't get more 'fringe' candidates as it was a by-election. No buckethead or binface for us, just a Christian Alliance candidate flying the flag for nutters likely to get around 100 votes...

There were some really weird ones dressed up as letters from neighbours etc. Bizarrely though, especially for a by-election, not one party took the time to knock on our door. Is that not a thing any more?

The Official 2023/24 Premier League Thread

I'd love to see Brighton get a last minute, bit dodgy, debatable goal!

Just happened in mine (Somerton & Frome), although the Lib Dems held it much more recently. Lib Dems won easily, despite having a fairly unlikeable single issue (farming) candidate, although this could easily have been to appeal to moderate Tories. Lib Dems really pushed it though - We had 17...

Brand new Joke thread (Not all PC)

My elderly relatives liked to tease me at weddings, saying things like, “You’ll be next!”. They stopped once I started doing the same to them at funerals.

    Richarlison

Well done Richy on a match-winning cameo. The rest of this chat would be better off over in Random, whichever side of the argument you take.

That's surely the u21 gk right?

    Alejo Veliz

They both looked good before we bought them and I think we must have broke them somehow as neither went on to greatness leaving us. Jannsen went to Turkey then Mexico and has recently returned to Europe in Belgium where he is doing well. Soldado never scored at the rate he did before joining...

    What’s everyone reading?

Aidiobooks are brilliant for decorating or other mundane tasks (like driving). I listened to a big chunk of The girl with the dragon tattoo driving to Stoke and back. Made sitting in traffic round Birmingham more bearable. Not so great for working mind you!

    What’s everyone reading?

It's good, but does cover the same examples used in his recent 'Things Fell Apart' podcast, so I knew some it anyway. I borrowed it from the library so it didn't cost me anything. The interesting thing was that most of the people weighing in to shame others on twitter for a really minor...

Currently reading this. Maybe it should be in the twitter thread?

    What’s everyone reading?

It might sound a little old school, but I get most of my audio books from the library. Well, a site (borrow box) which I log in to with my library card. And it's free! Depends where you live of course...

    Harry Kane MBE

I'm coming round to the fact he is leaving this window. We should wish him the best and thank him for the time he has been at the club. Him going at this point seems more reasonable than the City debacle and going abroad is the least bad option for us as fans. If we get £80m+ and a potential...

Surely you can build on this? It is too good not to! I heard he is perfectly content with a defence led by Tanganga and Sanchez. Gives them something to do doesn't it?
