    Son Heung-Min

To hear Sonny, the loveliest and most likeable guy in football ever, say the f-word not once, but twice, on live television, in front of 50.000 people, really made my day for some odd reason. 😁

I see...that's a bummer for him, but at least he got to take part in the celebrations immediately after the game.

How come Kulu wasn't there today? It was mentioned he was injured, but that didn't stop him on Wednesday.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I think he'll stay. Despite the abysmal league finish, despite some questionable league performances, despite us looking very one dimentional in our play for long periods. It just feels as if his standing among the players and staff is rock solid, and that he has instilled a mentality that...

Planes, Trains And Automobiles - We're Going To Bilbao

Some nice banter in the pub before the game, when the small group of United fans started singing that song, only for the big majority of Spurs fans to join in and drown them out.

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

They did win the Cup winners cup 31 years ago, after beating European giants Odense BK, Standard Liége, Torino, PSG (pre financial doping) and Parma, though. Gotta count for something.

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

I returned to my old Spurs pub in Oslo I hadn't visited for years yesterday (moved out of the city, got kids, etc.) and it was such a lovely feeling just being there. So many familiar faces, everyone just a little older, but it brought back so many good memories. And I had totally forgotten how...

That's been the soundtrack of my day too. Also last night, heading home from the pub.

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

It's funny how the quality of the opponents is suddenly so relevant now Spurs have won the EL. Yet there's no mention of Villa having to overcome the mighty Bologna, Arse taking on Shaktar Donetsk and Liverpool (and Arse) barely beating Girona in the CL. The quality of the teams is of course...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Agreed on that - I don't believe we lost on purpose, but I also find it strange that he couldn't apply a bit of defensive pragmatism and cynicism in league games as well. I think Ange would've avoided a lot of the stick he's (rightfully) gotten if he adapted more in the PL too. Fair enough, we...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Yes, when the outcome is a European trophy and CL qualification - and of course we didn't get relegated - without a doubt. As I've said, it was a bold and risky decision, but it paid off and no one will remember the 21 league defeats from this season. It's all about the trophy.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

My main point was that this was a pragmatic decision made more than halfway through the season, when our chances of league success were less than slim, and the squad was still recovering from a massive injury crisis. We were likely still in the League cup semi and in the FA Cup at the time of...
