    Daniel Levy - Chairman

Isn't he just Levy wearing glasses? ;)

If we're scraping the barrel for attackers I'd rather we waited until the summer and focussed on getting another defender in. No point buying rubbish for the sake of it imo (Garnacho)

    Pray Tel

His careers going down the bricker if he goes to Villa or United. Will be funny to watch at least. We’re out of the CL for a couple of years and people acting like all the years before that didn’t happen… good player, but only worth getting if he was 100% up for it.

I presumed it was put together by Levy to deter other clubs…

haha I just thought exactly the same. 100% true.

    The transfer thread

One advantage is that we are the most desperate :) If they want a buyback clause? sure (I've seen rumors they would like this, surely no other club would agree) If they want a loan with option to buy? sure If they just want a two year loan? sure We'd prob say yes to anything. Also, do they...

Could the difference be that he now wants to leave? Although, even a loan until the end of next season would be great for us. Hopefully we can sort out our brick in the meantime,

Mathys Tel for the mooted £60m would be ridiculous -- even at 19 (or 20) he's absolute quality. Can really strike the ball, lots of pace, can also play on the left. Would be our best winger imo, and can move up front long term. Crazy that Bayern are even entertaining selling him.

Tactically we are so bad, and been like that even with a full team. For that reason he should be out

Yeah all the talk about head injury awareness, this should be a no brainer (no pun intended) Sick of the opposition going down holding their head to waste time every game

Descent team, however it is worrying Kulu and Porro never seem to get a break. If Spence is fit I'd rest Porro. Is Yang ready for some minutes?

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Also, while playing incredibly attacking football so maybe the fans wouldn’t get too upset.

    Ange departs

That in a nutshell. Whatever the tactics, some refinement is always need to go that extra mile and get the best out of the squad (even Mourihno who's known for one way of playing tweaks the finer details of how his teams play based on the players available). You also need to find the best 11...

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

It would be entertaining to see what Harry would do. His comments about Ange's tactics and "5 points from 8 games" would be funny.

    Ange departs

Fair point actually. I'd have been fine with Gray or Davies at LCB. Could have stuck with Dragu and Gray. What was dumb was introducing a new system when we were also low on players - imo the new system messed up both defense and attack,

    Ange departs

Oooh Controversial. Even as an amateur CB switching from RCB to LCB is very different. Angles, positioning, how comfortable you are passing the ball to the wing etc. all different. Especially if you've played on one side a lot. Should have just stuck with a back four and put Davies LCB.

    Ange departs

I’ve moved from in to out today. Yes we’ve got a lot of injuries, but imo a lot of our problems have come from stupid team selections and having arbitrary players he doesn’t fancy. Not starting Lankshear against Tamworth was a huge mistake. Not only to rest someone, but also he may have...

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

All true. But the problem is the PL is ruthless to inconsistent players. You don't need many to have an off day and it's 3 points down the drain. The successful Man U teams were an example of this; Nicky Butt, Philip Neville, John O'Shea...even Gary Neville to some extent. Could all have been...

Vicario Spence Romero VDV Udogie Gray Bergvall Kulu Porro Solanke Moore Good team. The others can battle it out as subs and show us how badly they want it. Edit: Exception being Bentancur who can rotate with the CM, but those 3 should be first choice.
