Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

It’s a win so fair play but does nothing to alleviate concerns. Mediocre first half and dreadful second half. This is arguably the worst opposition in Premier League history and we couldn’t force our game on them for a lot of that. It doesn’t bode well for the Europa.

From one angle it looks easily on. From another it looks well off…

I think you’re probably right. I’d have pulled the trigger after Everton. That was breaking point for me, Leicester put the tin hat on it. Each week, things are getting worse though. Thursday night was a poor performance, the stuff with the crowd after while his comments in press conferences...

He had Chelsea motoring at the end of last season. No way he was a complete failure there (or PSG IMO). The trajectory at Chelsea was similar to here. Poor start having inherited a brickshow and they looked very strong by the season’s end. On “Ange will get the Europa”, I don’t understand the...

Spence has been dreadful lately. Really poor. I like the lad but we shouldn’t go overboard on him. On Udogie, he’s still a young lad. He has the ability and I think he’ll bounce back. Playing full back under Ange is very difficult. Son is on the decline and should probably not be a starter...

Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

That’s as optimistic a prediction as I’ve seen to be honest. I could see us losing if we were playing any other team but Southampton are abysmal. I’ll regret this at 4pm tomorrow but I do think we’ll win.

Maybe we overrate our players at times but they are not as bad as they look now. Udogie looked like he could be the best left back in the league for a lot of the last year. He has the ability. Romero is wanted by Madrid apparently. He’s talented. Yes he’s been error prone under 3 coaches now...

One of the other ironic things about the current situation is that we still have a (slim) shot at Europa League and that could be Ange's only shot at redemption. Throughout his reign, he's spoken about solitary cup wins not being worth a whole lot. He wanted to build something sustainable that...

I've given him stick for it but Simon Jordan raised an interesting point earlier in the week. He did say that the bank may well be insisting that wages to turnover has to be kept below a certain threshold as part of the loan agreement. Maybe that's Jordan speculating or maybe he knows something...

I guess we all see things differently but I'm seeing something else entirely. Watch the 3 goals from the last two games. The defending is horrific. The organisation isn't there, the application isn't there. Fulham, you had 3 lads around their scorer for the first goal and they watched him...

In fairness, @Lilbaz was replying to my post where I said fans have a right to articulate their frustration as long as they aren't being threatening to players or the manager. He did clarify that what Ange experienced last night didn't fall into the "abuse" category.

I'm with you. I went early on him not having any hope of winning something here (which I may still be proven wrong on) but I did say that I thought he'd leave having done a similar job to BMJ and would be held in the same esteem. He's dragged us into unimaginable territory. 14th. 10 points off...

To be honest, I hate the personal abuse stuff and absolutely detest it when it's anonymous and online. That's levels of cowardly that boil my tinkle. I always tell the story of a lad a few down from me who has a spacegoat every year (it's Johnson this year). He once shouted "Eric Dier, you're...

Does "you don't know what you're doing" fall into the abuse category?

It's not up to me or you to tell other fans how to behave or feel. As long as they aren't doing anything illegal or threatening the safety of the players or the manager, they are entitled to articulate how they feel. You'll see some fans on here don't like booing at full time. Some don't like...

I've already said, more than once, that I don't like that sort of chanting either. But it's part of the game unfortunately and players and managers have to deal with it better than Ange did last night.

He'll probably just lie again. His explanation doesn't make sense on several fronts: 1. In his almost 2 years here I can't ever remember him geeing up the fans. If anything, he's always been the complete opposite on the sideline. 2. To gee up the fans, managers and players usually fist pump...

Now you're willfully misrepresenting what I'm saying. Your exact words were: "Fans like the ones singing and you who excuse it are not who I wanted to be associated with." If you don't want to be associated with fans like the ones singing last night or people like me then that would suggest...
