    Thanks for your kind comments -- it was a "lump in the throat" moment for me when I got it. Scara -- not sure that you can expect your two year old to be producing at quite this standard -- my son is 18!

    I do not get it. We have a terrible run of performances playing largely the same players in the same system. Why would you either not try tinkering with the system or personnel? I don't think one can keep trotting out the same excuses if there is no willingness to at least try something else...

    I agree with the defensive change. I can't understand how youy persist with a system that requires fast overlapping full backs when you are playing full backs who have can't do that job.

    While a lot of cogent arguments have been made in this thread, I still haven't seen a better theory than my deal with the devil for why we haven't finished above them for 20 years. Am I right in believing that no other team can hold that over us?

    that we have finished below the red menace for that long. It defies logic that we have finished above the other top three but not them. I swear that Wenger struck a Faustian bargain that guaranteed it.....and when he is gone their stadium will spontaneously combust!
