    Yeah I think the Korean connection had a huge part to play in the transfer fee. I remember reading something years ago saying that a Spurs vs United game was the most watch match ever in South Korea just because Wipey and Park Ji-Sung were playing.

    Bale was always going to go. Look at him now, you can't really blame him for leaving. He's one of the top 5 players in the world and is playing for the biggest club in the world. I like to think of Bale for the good things he did in a Spurs shirt.

    That's a shame considering he was a pretty successful kickboxer. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened vs Joshua if he was properly conditioned and his shoulder held up. You could see from the earlier rounds that he was blowing out of his arse.
