    I don't think he's doing that because he's been asked too. Last year he did the same when we had Modric. He was constantly trying to take the initiative himself and take the ball from modric and push further upfield than his more attacking partner. I just think Parker plays his own game...

    Parker has lost his legs, which was the only thing he really had going for him. The man can barely make a tackle without fouling nowadays. Stick Carroll in and have Moussa playing the DM role. Dembele is basically doing the work of two men in our current midfield.

    Of course we would miss Parker given that Sandro was out. Doesn't mean we can't ask for a better younger backup to replace him next season. Parker has heart, but is limited in what he can do with the ball and doesn't appear to understand the tactical side of the game, often playing by instinct...

    What is good about AVB is that he spots the errors and faults and works quickly to get rid of them. Last year when we went through a bad patch we had the manager saying "i'm puzzled, we're not doing anything differently". I back this setup to right the wrongs.
