    Eventful day

Glad you made it out safe Roy, had a mate who's been mugged a knife point (not quite the same, I know) and he was shaking for days, hope you feel okay mate.

Mate, do you think all of us hate the english? :ross:

    Happy St paddys day to

I think it's a bit sad that you associate Saint Patrick's day with the IRA, whether people like it or not, Saint Patrick's day has been adopted by many many countries as ultimately a fun day (mainly drinking but, I remember my celebrations as a child with my family fondly, coming from an irish...

Getting booked on purpose to miss a dead rubber (I know it is not now)

AVB didn't even say he was going to do it, did he? All he said was, that it gave Bale a chance to clear his cards and he can't comment on the decision iirc.

    All australian men are gay

Chich, I don't mean it to be against you or anything in that manner. I was just saying it's a poor term to use, I wouldn't make a judgement about someone I don't know and haven't even had a proper conversation with but, you seem like a decent enough bloke and I know you don't mean it...

    All australian men are gay

Mate.... please just use a different word. I appreciate that you're from a different generation but, that's not on.

    I am a manager

Good luck mate, always good to take a leap into trying something else.

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

You could challenge them to a walk off (my apologies but, that film makes me smile). I think in that situation you don't have much time to think so maybe he didn't think of it like that, or maybe he's just a scum bag.

    Eastleigh

I'm a catholic myself but, I couldn't agree more with you on that sort of thing - off topic but, the catholic church has some massive problems (understatement). I find it laughable that there is supposedly a select group of people (chosen by a smaller and even more select group of people) who...

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Can see where you're coming from there mate, family moved out from south london before I was born so I've never been in that kind of area (no offence mate), the stories I've heard from people who still live there is like it's another country, it's mind boggling when I think about it. That there...

I bet you say that to all the girls 8-[

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Yeah, you're right but, what do you do with people like that?
  16. JellySpur

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Yeah, I make you right mate. I fine, it's just one of those things really, couldn't wrap my head round it or anything, they didn't take anything so no idea why it happened. I'm from Romford/Essex and it's the first time I've had problems walking in that area at all.
  17. JellySpur

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Being of diminutive size and questionable strength, the only way I could think of getting him off the bloke would be a kick to the ribs/head but, what happens if it turns out it was a set up like that was and you kill the bloke (say he's got low bone density or just catch him in a certain way)
  18. JellySpur

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Completely agree, as much as I'd like to think I would stand up, I just don't know I probably would just brick myself and do what they said (the gun scenario)
  19. JellySpur

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

Guns change a lot I think, I'm not sure how I would react to that, I'd probably brick myself but, I go days without being able to sleep sometimes due to guilt and stuff so I think I may have done something (don't know what, I'd probably be dead now tbh it's a reason I rarely travel alone) but...

    Hypothetically.... What would you do?

I think that's a good attitude to have really, I don't think I could sleep at night if I didn't do something. Whilst I'm not really a fighter and I doubt I'd pose a threat to anyone (I'm a short skinny guy with questionable fitness), I think I have to get involved. I've broken up fights before...
