Premier League and London, with spectacular stadium and training ground. All help towards the final package. It would be kind of funny if we beat Bayern to a young player and they end up signing one of our cast-offs. It should be good for Dier, too, as presumably he will fit in better there.

I'd prefer they lose every game in the red and white.

He sees something, but not the full picture, e.g. a player falling over in the box and doesn't know if he was fouled or a tackle/foul where he can't see contact with the ball. Politics It's the pretence of infallibility that undermines their authority. The interaction between referees and...

I think it's normally home hospitality, but because of the larger away allocation in the FA Cup it's away hospitality for this game.

The Official 2023/24 Premier League Thread

I think automatic reviews are fine as they can pick up things the referee missed, but VAR needs to be seen as a tool to help the referee rather than something to fix their mistakes. So your suggestion that the referee can ask it to review specific incidents makes sense (a strange oversight...

    The Goon Thread

From what I've seen, the images showing the ball show slight overlap with the line. However, the ball is then obscured by the player so it might have gone out shortly afterwards, but there is no visual evidence one way or another. Fair to say there is no clear and obvious error.

Funny that they have Thierry Henry commenting on the ball being out. Thierry didn't say use your hand to make sure it's in.

How has Haaland escaped sanction by the FA. It's basically a green light to insult referees if they have made a mistake. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/12/04/erling-haaland-defines-referee-abuse-fa-caves-thuggery/ They might want to drug test him too. #ROID RAGE
