    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Watford***

Holy crap... my blood pressure must be through the roof. Got the three points though!

    Yannick Bolasie

Bolasie for £5-8m? I'd roll the dice on him as I do think he has the potential to step up another level given the right coach and team-mates. If he cost much more than that, though, I'd probably look elsewhere.

“Everybody in the club, all eyes on us, all eyes on us"

Third place would be a success for us this season. The extra happiness I'd feel finishing second probably wouldn't compensate for Arsenal finishing as champions. So option B for me. But I'd happily finish 3rd and have Arsenal finish 1st, rather than Spurs finish 5th with them finishing 3rd.

The best Spurs team of all time - right back

Steve Perryman for me. As has been noted, he played several positions for us and was excellent in them all. I'm going to vote for him as a full-back because I'm worried he might be squeezed out of our midfield... and a best 11 just wouldn't make sense without him (as captain too).

“Everybody in the club, all eyes on us, all eyes on us"

Despite being a proud Dubliner, I spent a big chunk of my life in North London (like my father before me). I admit that I do not understand anyone who would prefer to see Arsenal do badly than see Spurs do well. That's insane in my view. But I equally don't understand the fans who say "I don't...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Apparently Levy has just bought a site next to Stamford Bridge and is planning on opening a sheet-metal works there...

    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Watford***

I know this is heresy, but I think I'd be happy enough with a point away to Watford. Not ideal, I know (and *obviously* a win would be better), but they have become a tough side to beat lately. No idea what's going on with the league this season, but I'm more worried about teams like Watford and...

    LMS 15/16 - Champion: jts1882

Hoping for an Arsenal loss, so I'll pick them this round.

Emirates Marketing Project for me. Likely to win, but I'll be happier if they don't.

    Saido Berahino

I take your point. But in my view a professional athlete who is not maintaining his fitness levels is a potential warning sign. It's also a warning sign for me when an athlete who has chosen to dedicate his life to a team sport, can't dedicate himself to the team while still making it clear...

    Harry Kane MBE

I do agree with that, but it's also worth pointing out just how young he still is. Decision-making is exactly the kind of thing that should improve with experience. Right now - assuming Kane stays at Spurs for a while - if he can just maintain his current level, I believe he'll be remembered as...

    Saido Berahino

It was halfway through October and Pulis was still saying things like: Saido's fitness levels and mental attitude have dropped in respect of what was going on before. But we've had him here for the last two weeks and we're trying to get him to where he was last season. He's a big player for us...

    Saido Berahino

Modric threw a strop when Chelsea came in for him. Even "went on strike" if I recall correctly. Levy didn't sell and by mid-September he had knuckled down and was finding his form again. He ended up having an incredible season for us. That's what I expect of a professional - I totally understand...

    Saido Berahino

Bera.hino has done himself no favours this season. But - for me - the player he was last season would have been a very positive addition to our team. I would be cautious about bringing him in now because of his attitude and I suspect the moment has passed anyway. But if we can bring him in...

***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur FC v Norwich

On the one hand I still think we need to use the squad more. On the other hand, I thought we played really well for most of the game against Southampton and I hate to mess with a winning formula. All the same, I'd rest a couple of important players here. But even after their win at Old...

    Mourinho - What Next?

And won't it be great watching them all being overshadowed by a hot young coach from Argentina!?

    Cheatski are still scum

Chelsea would be mad to sack Mourinho right now. I have no idea what's gone wrong at the club, but I seriously doubt there's any other manager who could step in and fix things in the short term. Mourinho will get them playing again eventually and they'll finish mid-table. Then in the summer they...
