20 minutes left of football. Please play some.

The prediction about us losing every game except City to help Arsenal win the title is looking less like a joke now.

Free kicks and corners are just as much nailed on as penalties now.

Possible I put it wrong, I thought I agreed with you about the rules being open to interpretation about what is what.

Could be good though. Midfield didn't have too much presence.

Maddison on. Everything going to plan.

I feel weirdly optimistic about this one. Please do the basics right.

That Chelsea lineup doesn't exactly strike fear into my heart, but if history has taught us anything... 1-3 Spurs, Maddison hat trick after being subbed in at 1-0 down.

Opens it up to interpretation, which is the opposite of what a rule is supposed to do.

That's the entire thing, about all the FA rules. I wouldn't have a problem with a rule restricting scoring with your left foot, as long as it's consistent.

    James Maddison

Being in the mix for CL participation with a team quite some distance behind (again, let's be honest) what Poch could field at his best, is not bad. It's not bad at all. Not only was that team much better player for player, but it was tuned and had multiple seasons playing together. That team...

If a keeper or a defender carries the ball and smacks it right into a defender, that negates an offside position no doubt. The way I see it, it was a block, not a play/pass the way the ball pinballed from a very hard shot from 10 yards. So by the way the rules are written I have no problem...

    James Maddison

Maybe, but I've never seen signs of Lo Celso doing anything like what Maddison did at the start of the season, picking out passes, directing play, carrying the ball, even finishing. He was absolutely brilliant. Right now he's admittedly pretty cack, but hopefully that can change.

The shot was probably way past 120 km/h from 10 yards away.

    James Maddison

You're probably right, but I really want to have Maddison snap into place and feel like it can happen anytime. He was so great at the start of the season. With Lo Celso, I have this (probably incorrect) feeling that we have seen the best of him. He's a good player, but he has no ace up his...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal FC ***

To be fair, Arsenal did a good job sabotaging play, falling around at the slightest touch while putting in snide tackles unpunished and wasting time at the right moments. You know, just being themselves. If we hadn't been so tinkle poor defending corners it might have been a different game. It's...

I hear you, but that's the issue though, good enough for what? We simply cannot be dissatisfied if a squad of players good enough for 4-7th finishes 5th. Every single EPL player is varying degrees of good. To take the extra step, we need players who have that little extra, to be able to step up...

As much as it hurts to say, if I understand the rules correctly, it's an offside. Had the clearance been so called "deliberate play" it would have negated the offside. From FA: The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player was in control of the ball and, as...

Scoreline acceptable, but we could and should have won that with concentration and a little luck.
