I think it's Nkunku that is causing us trouble dropping between the lines.

Winks starting shakily. This happens everytime he gives a positive pre-match interview.

Moura cannot play this role, he's too small.

I'm with you on this. As a second thought though, I wouldn't be suprised to see Lucas occupying the striker role and Gedson being deployed on the right. I have a feeling the Jose would rather keep Dele at #10. I hope not though as Lucas in that deeper pocket really looked good against Villa.

    What the fudging fudge

    Tanguy Ndombele

I think it was a case of Jose thought we needed that strength in front of the back four. Not sure who starts though when we play Leipzig as Winks seems to be playing every game atm.

Grealish would be an option to replace Lamela. When you look at our shape today we had Lucas dropping deeper to collect and run, whilst Aurier stayed wide. Grealish could easily work in that role or Dele's. Again though, we have Dele, Bergwijn, Son, Lucas, Gedson and GLC all able to play in...

    Gedson Fernandes

Yeah, maybe big is wrong, but he looks tall to me. Maybe emphasised by his physique.

So only a 0.73 xG increase from the first half. Feels like it should have been more but whatever.

We've got too many midfielders to squeeze him in imo. Dele's position would be under threat but we don't need to go spending the money on Grealish when there are position's we really need upgrades in.

I thought Sanchez had a really poor game. Their #9 outfought him to a lot of the first and second balls and he got lost under it on more than one occasion.

    Gedson Fernandes

Big lad with bundles of talent. I'm curious to see how he develops as over these past few cameo's he's looked a real player.

    Lucas Moura

Looked like he has really picked up on what Jose wants from a tactical point of view. He linked very well with the midfield, peeled off at the right times and dribbled through the middle of Villa with ease. I don't think he really put a foot wrong and defended with energy. Really happy for him...

    @milo Lucas Moura.

2.75 xG at half time? WTF is it going to be at full time? Feels like 5 or more with some of those and Son's goal was a really high one probably.

Well brick lol. Engels thankyou very much.

    OMT - Spurs v Villa

WTF is wrong with this lot!! Serge can see Targett is going for the slide, he doesn't try to pre-empt it, fudging bails out of the challenge and isn't near to take it away afterwards. And our fudging throw in routine. One go short, one work off that, the next off that, not three players all...

You can't card Bergwijn for his first when it's a nothing challenge.

Winks and Gio really look like they have a good understanding. Dele, just fudge off and learn to finish.

Hugo could've just reversed that to Toby there, but the long ball goes up and fudge all comes from it.
